So if you know me you know I’m pretty in love with my pug Sweetcheeks. A fellow pug-owner/lover showed me Valentino is too and he has 5.

That’s all.

Saki’s shoot
This week I had another shoot in my studio. There was a great team involved. Saki was the photographer, assisted by Cherry who was also taking video.. looking forward to seeing that! The designer was ammmmmaaaazing, Paul, who is movin’ to NY this month– we don’t want you to leave!

We had some downtime…

Tea Party
I know it’s been a while but I thought I’d update since so many fun things have been goin on.

So, yesterday, Mandy and I tagged along with Maria to attend a jewelry launch party for Pyschology Jewelry which Laxa happened to shoot for. Mandy, the model in all the shots, was pleased to see herself and her boobs all over the room.

I was back in England, we were served [fair-trade] tea and crumpets and everyone looked adorable.

We had a great time, met some awesome people and got to catch up with eachother. These guys, Rey and Justin, are designers for Rey Aquino Designs. They were our favs.

One more thing, I might be a dognapper:

blurb
What’d you do today? I happened to make a book on blurb.com it’s gonna be printed, bound and shipped to me (ready for my mom’s birthday) in just 7 days!

You gotta check this place out.. it’s way too easy. Me and my friend, Feli, met with some blurb peeps at the Palm Springs Photo Festival. They were just one of the awesome sponsors at this event.

We had such a great time. We got to hear some amazing photographers speak about their work such as Duane Michals, Todd Hido, Steve McCurry, and a great presentation of Robert Mapplethorpe’s work. And the most valuable part was participating in portfolio reviews. I was fortunate enough to be reviewed by Cindy Rowe of Saatchi & Saatchi, LA; Leah Levine, L2 Agency, and Jean Jeaques Naudet, American Photo.
I had been working on the production of the festival in the offices, so to see it come together and experience was really overwhelming and inspiring.
Plus, I won a Leica!! woot woot
